We are seeking a Plant Operative / Waste Management Operative to join a team in managing waste disposal and recycling operations. The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining cleanliness and sustainability within the facility. The role starts through the agency with perm opportunities available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Operating a Loading Shovel or other vehicles to collect waste and recyclable materials from designated areas.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during waste handling.
  • Maintain cleanliness of waste collection areas.
  • Assist in general cleaning duties as required.

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Previous experience operating a loading shovel or plant is desirable.
  • Loading Shovel Ticket or Telehandler preferred but not essential.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with team members.

Hours:

Your core hours will be Monday to Friday between 6:45am and 6pm working a basic of 40 hours a week. Weekend working will be needed but not every weekend.

Pay:

Hourly rate is £14.50. Paid 2x time for working on Bank Holidays.
