Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer, they are looking for an experienced Forklift Truck Driver (with an in-date Counterbalance FLT license) to join their team as a FLT Operative on a permanent basis (weekly rotating shift, 6.00am - 2.00pm / 2.00pm - 10.00pm).
PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
- The job involves manual handling heavy goods, picking, and pulling trailer curtains, so please only apply if you consider yourself to be physically able to do some heavy manual work.
- The role will involve being outside for long periods of time (loading delivery vans with goods), you must be comfortable with such working environments.
- You have an in-date FLT Licence (Counterbalance), not in-house, it must be your own license.
- You are available to start work with relatively short notice.
- You have previous experience of working in a Manufacturing / Production / Factory / Logistics / Dispatch environment as an FLT Operator / Forklift Truck Operator / FLT Driver / Despatch Operative / Distribution Operative.
- Experience of using a LLOP and/or VNA will be favoured, but not essential.
Salary: £32,410 (£28,057 basic + £4,353 Shift allowance) + Overtime (if available)
Shift: Double Days 6.00am - 2.00pm / 2.00pm - 10.00pm Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- This role is a combination of Fork Lift Truck work and general Logistics Operative duties.
- Operating a Counterbalance FLT, VNA, and LLOP in the factory, to move large products, load and unload.
- Any other duties as requested by management.
