Our client is a successful Bus / Coach Depot that is looking for a Cleaning Supervisor to join their Bus Presentation Team in Bolton. The main purpose of the role is to supervise the team of Cleaners and Shunters to ensure all buses are prepared for service and look good as new.

Please only apply if you meet the following criteria:

  • You have a proven track record of managing and supervising a large team (this team is around 40 people, management is split between yourself and another supervisor).
  • You are a friendly team player and motivator, who can relate to a wide variety of people, but can be strongly assertive when needed to ensure cooperation and good work is carried out by your team.
  • You are happy to work any day of the week (5 days over 7 days), and on either of the 2pm – 10pm and 6pm – 2am shifts as required.
  • You have a full clean UK driving licence.

We are ideally looking for people from the Commercial Automotive sector but we are open to speaking to candidates who are local to Bolton and have supervised large teams. This role would suit someone who has worked as a Supervisor / Team Leader / Manager, perhaps from a Warehouse or Industrial environment, but open to industry and background.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conducting the start of shift meetings
  • Creating effective Rotas
  • Ordering of cleaning products and supplies
  • Managing sickness and holidays
  • Reporting to Management
  • One to one’s
  • Disciplinaries
  • Getting involved with the work if need be

Full training and support will be provided by the team. Rotating shift patterns, 5 days over 7 days: 2pm – 10pm / 6pm – 2am (38+ hours per week, likely more due to overtime). Salary is Β£30,000 - Β£32,000 + overtime at x1.5 and x 2.
