Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Barnsley Salary: £48,336.70 per annum, including shift allowance Shift Pattern: 4-Shift Rota
Shifts
- 6am – 2pm, Monday to Friday
- 2pm – 10pm, Monday to Friday
- 10pm – 6am, Monday to Friday
- 6am – 4pm, Thursday to Sunday
The Role
Questech Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in Barnsley, who are looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their busy engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical maintenance and repairs on production machinery and plant.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns.
- Fault-find on mechanical systems, including gearboxes.
- Work with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Maintain accurate records using the CMMS system.
About You
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum 4 years' industrial maintenance experience.
- Previous manufacturing or engineering experience.
- Good knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Experience using CMMS systems.
