Questech Recruitment are recruiting for a Automation & Controls Engineer (Service Role – Yorkshire Region) on behalf of our client in Leeds. Qualifications / Experience required: * HNC/D in electronic and electrical engineering (or related subject) * Apprenticeship trained as ‘instrument technician’ or ‘automation and controls engineer. * 18th Edition * At least 3 years work experience * Must have a full driving licence The Role: * Undertake ‘site surveys’ for potential projects * Create ‘quotes’ for customer projects * Develop electrical design, schematics, and drawings * Research supplier products for assembly components * Provide ‘project management’ support – FDS, SIS, HARA, LOPA, SSD, FAT, SAT, QAT and participate in presentations and meetings * Troubleshoot issues, configuration programming and fault finding.
