Our client is a successful and well-established manufacturer. They have an urgent requirement for a Repair Operative / Field Service Technician / Assembler to join them on a temporary to permanent basis. The Repair Operative role will involve some work on-site at Cumbernauld, and visiting business customer sites around the surrounding counties to repair hospital furniture (e.g. beds) / delivering replacement parts. A company van will be provided when going to customer sites. The role will involve some heavy lifting, so it is important that you are comfortable with this. As an example, this role could suit someone who has previous experience as a Delivery Driver (e.g. furniture / sofas / kitchens / bathrooms / etc.), that is also skilled with hand and power tools (Assembler / Assembly Operative). Salary: £12.00 per hour. Hours of work: 8.30am – 5.00pm (38.33 hours a week) PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF: • You can start ASAP. • You are happy to drive to customer locations around the the counties surrounding Cumbernauld using a company van. • You drive and have a full UK driving license. • You are skilled with hand and power tools. • You are comfortable with manual work, i.e. lifting heavy items such as furniture.
