Job description: Assembly Operative – Sheffield Pay: £13.00 per hour Hours: Monday–Thursday 7:00am–3:00pm, Friday 7:00am–2:00pm Location: Sheffield Job Type: Full-time We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join an established engineering and manufacturing business in Sheffield. The Role You will be responsible for assembling furnace units and ensuring components are fitted correctly and securely. Duties will include: * Assembling furnace units * Fitting parts and components into furnaces * Fitting lids and other components * Following assembly instructions and procedures * Checking work to ensure units are assembled correctly * Maintaining a clean and safe working area * Working as part of a team to meet production requirements About You The ideal candidate will be: * Practical and hands-on * Reliable and punctual * Comfortable carrying out repetitive assembly work * Able to follow instructions carefully * Have good attention to detail * Comfortable working as part of a team * Previous assembly, manufacturing or engineering experience is desirable, but not essential Working Hours & Pay £13.00 per hour * Monday–Thursday: 7:00am–3:00pm * Friday: 7:00am–2:00pm This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a consistent Monday-to-Friday role within an engineering and manufacturing environment.
