Lead Design Engineer
We are working with a key client, founded in 1960, is aLeader by Design of high and low-pressure cartridge valves, reducing stations,and manifoldsfor critical and demanding applications. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Lead Design Engineer to join their business in Oldham.
Key requirements
- Must have over 5years working experience as aLead Design Engineer
- Ideally degree educatedinin Mechanical Engineering or related field
- We will consider apprentice trained individuals
- Experience of 3D CAD is required
- Must have extensive experience and proven background in engineering manufacturing
- Must have some experience of leadership and mentoring small to medium teams
- Strong grasp of mechanical principles and system design methodologies
- Experience with MathCad for pressure and strength calculations would be beneficial
- Familiarity with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is a plus
- Knowledge of GD&T practices and manufacturing engineering is highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
