Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Buyer/ Purchasing Lead to join their business in Herford.

  • Must have over 4 years working experience as Senior Buyer/Purchasing Lead
  • Engineering and manufacturing experience is required
  • SAP experience required
  • CIPS qualification required level 3 or above
  • Ability to identify problems and apply problem-solving techniques to achieve a resolution
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Good interpersonal skills

The role is a mixture of Buyer and Purchasing and experience is required. The role includes the purchasing of materials, goods, and services. Working with departments on their purchasing requirements to ensure that the company’s operational needs are met whilst considering cost, quality, and ensuring continuity of supply. The successful Senior Buyer/Purchasing Lead is vital to continuous improvement efforts in procurement and the success of the company to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Working Hours = 39 hours per week

Monday–Thursday: 07:45 - Friday: 07:45 – 12:45
