Project Engineer We are working with a organisation who have been established for over 35 years and have gone from strength to strength. My client specialise in manufacturing special purpose machinery for over 35 years, which they manufacture for a vast and varied number of customers in all industry sectors. Bespoke machines are made to order and designs are developed in house for a unique requirement. We are currently looking for experienced Project Engineer to join this company based in Lancashire. Key Skills required of the Project Engineer: * Must have over 4 years working experience in a Project Engineers role * Experience working within a design/engineering office and a production environment. * We require previous experience producing quality documentation such as; Quality Plans & LTQR packs. * Some experience of NEC Contracts would be beneficial * Ability to produce timing plans/project programs to outline key dates & critical activities, working closely with the team to maintain an achievable delivery date. * Experience in working with engineering drawings. * Ability to interpretate customer specifications and make decisions with technical information. * Ability to apply engineering principles to reach a quality solution. * Ability to problem solve both as part of a team, and individually. * Must have ability to handle multiple project deliverables. * A good communicator at all levels, including both shop floor and customer support. * Willing to travel for site surveys and installation support when required. Beneficial Requirements: * A good understanding & experience of the standards and quality control documents required to work with high level customers within the nuclear industry. * A good understanding Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. * Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. * Knowledge of electrical systems. * Knowledge of welding certification and requirements This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and knowledgeable Projects Engineer, who wishes to progress within a dynamic and rapidly expanding engineering firm.
