Position Overview
CNC Machinist – Experienced CNC Miller or CNC Turner needed at a site near Lancaster.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC milling or CNC turning machines.
- Set up and run machining operations according to client drawings and quality requirements.
- Edit or write CNC programs from scratch.
- Maintain tight tolerances and high precision engineering methods.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience as a CNC Miller or CNC Turner.
- At least 3 years proven experience setting and operating CNC machines.
- Experience with 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining.
- Knowledge of Fanuc, Mazak, or Haidenhain CNC control systems.
- Experience working with a variety of metals.
- High-spec industry experience (aerospace, oil & gas, defence) is a distinct advantage.
- Time-served CNC machinist required.
Hours of Work
Monday to Thursday 6 am–4.15 pm – 4-day work week (night shifts available) or 5-day week.
