Our client designs, manufactures and supports world-class continuous compounding solutions for highly filled, temperature sensitive applications. We are currently assisting ourkey client to secure a Mechanical Fitter to join their established team in Rochdale.

Key skills required of a Mechanical Fitter:

• Over 4years experience working as a Mechanical Fitter
• Experience of working on large Mechanical Assemblies
• Must have experience of building machines
• Over 4years proven Mechanical working history
• Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings
• Upskilling and cross-functional development via grading scheme
• Must have asolid background in Engineering
• We require formal apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering.

The role provides the opportunity for a permanent position within our award-winning engineering facility where we annually spend more than £2m in capital investment. Industry leading apprenticeships (5 years) and recruiting 6 apprentices each year.

The successful Mechanical Fitter will be offered excellent salary and benefits, free on site parking, career progression opportunity.

Shifts:

Shift A –Monday to Thursday -06:00 to 15:45

Shift B –Monday to Thursday – 15:30 to 01:15

Shift B (option 2) –Monday to Thursday – andFriday 10:00 to 15:00

Or Nightshift Monday to Thursday, 20:00 to 06:00 @ 33% shift premium plus overtime opportunities.
