We are recruiting for a prismatic machining and mechanical assembly business for the Civil and Military Aerospace Industry, specialising in high speed 5 axis soft and hard metal plus composite machining up to 3 metres in length. We are looking for a full time permanent CNC Turner.

Key skills required from the CNC Turner:

  • Must have hands on working experience as a CNC Turner (minimum 3 years)
  • Ability to Set and Operate (minimum 3 years)
  • Must have the ability to understand the code of the programs in case you need to go in and when loading new tools
  • Ability to program from technical drawings is a major benefit
  • Experience with Mazatrol or Fanuc is required
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • A background in Aerospace would be a distinct advantage
  • Ensure machines are set in a timely fashion and that dimensions and surface finishes are as required
  • Ability to check own work in conjunction with the inspection department
  • Maintain safe operations by adhering to H&S regulations and procedures ensuring a safe environment for yourself and colleagues
  • Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and highlighting any issues found

The successful CNC Turner will be rewarded with an excellent basic salary, free onsite parking and other benefits TBC by the client.

Working hours: 7.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday - 4 day working week.
