Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Setter Operator to join their business in Herford.
Key Skills required of the CNC Setter Operator:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience of working in a machining environment.
- Apprentice trained or engineering college educated.
- Ability to set and operate CNC lathes and milling machines.
- Be able to read technical drawings.
- Experience of working to tight tolerances.
- Ability to inspect own work.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and to manage conflicting demands on time and resources to deliver objectives.
- Using lifting equipment to load & unload components.
- Ensure quality of work is accurate, thorough and neat.
- Ability to produce a significant volume of work efficiently in a specified period of time.
- Demonstrate initiative, adaptability and willingness to learn.
