Corepack Dresser Our client is part of the global $7.1 billion publicly listed Corporation, they are a class leading supplier and highly trusted brand within the aerospace industry. Manufacturing precision gear splined and threaded components for our clients including Rolls Royce, Eaton, Collins Aerospace, Safran Power Systems, Meggitt and many more. With testing facilities, plus high-precision assembly services for small aerospace assemblies and core packs used in the windings of aircraft generators. Safety, quality, delivery, and cost are of the utmost importance to everything we do, allowing us to grow organically for over 40 years by providing an unrivalled service. We are recruiting for an experienced Corepack Dresser to join this business in Hemel Hempstead. Key skills required of the Corepack Dresser: * At least 2 years working experience as a Corepack Dresser * Previous Aerospace experience or similar manufacturing/engineering background is required * Excellent attention to detail with good hand-eye coordination with the use of hand tools eg swiss files * Able to undertake repetitive, precision work * Good communication skills- able to speak and read/write in English * Able to listen to instructions and advice when needed. * Keen to uphold our Company’s reputation for good quality parts delivered on time Important Behaviours * Customer Focus- self-motivated with a desire to do a good job for our customers * Instils Trust- able to work on own initiative and build good relationships with colleagues * Action Orientated- understands changing production schedules and can adapt to changing customer requirements * Continuous Improvement- doesn’t settle for status quo and curious to see what happens when changes are put in place * Self-Development- wants to be able to do a good job and develop skills and knowledge Rewards and Benefits * Working 39.5 hours a week from 8.00 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00 am to 4.00 pm on Fridays (30 mins for lunch) * Overtime payable at x1.5 hourly rate (days) * Annual pay reviews * Financial Wellbeing package including Independent 1-to-1 financial coaching and pension advice, financial workshops and more! * Salary sacrifice pension scheme- currently provided by Scottish Widows * 25 days holiday + bank holidays per year (including Christmas closure) * Onsite parking * Life assurance * WeCare employee support package- offering access to private GP services 24/7 plus mental health and wellbeing services to support your healthy living lifestyle.
