CNC Miller Setter/Operator
We are working with a well developed company who have a focused manufacturing capability based on CNC technology. In addition to traditional standalone machining centers, they have 6 sliding head CNC lathes that allow complete production of finished components from raw bar material. We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller Setter/Operator to join them in their facility in Rotherham.
Key skilled required of the CNC Miller Setter/Operator:
- The CNC Miller must have over 6 years working experience as a CNC Miller
- Experience as a Setter mainly is required and some Operating
- Must have hands on Programming experience or excellent Setter Operator
- Ability to write programs from drawings – at a high level of competence
- Must have experience of Fanuc controls
- This role will be suited to a CNC Miller with Medium to high volume engineering background
- Experience of cutting variety of materials – from basic carbon plate, Nicol, duplex etc.
- We will consider someone who has moved up the rank
The successful CNC Miller Setter/Operator will be working for a a forward moving organisation who like to reinvest in the business and their people. In return my client are offering excellent hourly rate inclusive of shift allowance and bonus scheme of 6-% of basic rate upon successful completion of agreed probationary period.
Shift 1: 06.30-15:00 Monday – Thursday, 06.30-14:00 Friday
Shift 2: 14.30pm-23:00 Mon – Thursday, 13:00-20:30 Friday
Overtime is paid at 1.5 x total rate (on both basic + bonus).
