Job Description
CNC Mill/Turn Programmer\\nWe are working with a key client who are part of the global $7.2 billion publicly listed Corporation. They are a class leading supplier and highly trusted brand within the aerospace industry, manufacturing precision gear splined and threaded components for key clients including Rolls Royce, Eaton, Collins Aerospace, Safran Power Systems, Meggitt and many more. We are now recruiting very experienced CNC Mill/Turn Programmer to join this business.\\nKey skills required of the CNC Mill/Turn Programmer:\\n * Must have a minimum of 4 years working experience as a CNC Mill/Turn- Programmer\\n * Previous Aerospace experience or similar is required\\n * Must be experienced setter operator on Mill/Turn machines\\n * Competent in offline programming CMZ Mill/Turn machines and Takisawa CNC Turning machines\\n * High degree of proficiency in programming Fanuc control machinery (G & M codes)\\n * FAPT and Manual Guide-I is would be an advantage\\n * Previous experience of working with a range of materials such as, Stainless Steel, Nylon, Titanium, Inconel & Aluminium to typical tolerance of +/- .001” (0.025mm) and occasional tolerances of +/- .0005” (0.0125 mm) in line with customer specifications.\\n * We require either apprentice trained or qualified by experienced engineer\\n * Edge Cam Programming would be a distinct advantage\\nThe successful CNC Mill/Turn Programmer will be programming, Setting & Operating CNC Mill/Turn machines and other machines within the Turning area to produce components to customer specification.\\nIn return my client are offering an excellent basic rate, free on site parking, overtime payable at x1.5 hourly rate, discretionary site bonus scheme and other benefits to be confirmed.\\nThe shift runs Monday to Thursday, starting at 3:00 PM and finishing at 1:30 AM from Monday to Wednesday, and 1:00 AM on Thursday—totalling 39.5 hours per week.\\nPlease send your CV to Zabina @ Quest Technical Ltd for immediate consideration
