The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

We are working with a key client who have a track record stretching back over 40 years, offering customers a broad range of contract and sub-contract manufacturing capabilities. They are currently recruiting for their site near Lancaster for an experienced CNC Miller or CNC Turner.

The CNC Miller/CNC Turner will need the following:

  • Must have hands-on working experience as a CNC Milling or CNC Turning - minimum 3 years
  • Proven experience of setting and operating is required over 3 years
  • Ideally ability to write programs from scratch or ability to edit programs online and offline
  • Experience with 3, 4, and 5-axis machining
  • Experience or knowledge of CNC Controls systems: Fanuc, Mazak or Haidenhain is required
  • Ability to manufacture components as per Clients Drawings and Quality requirements
  • Good experience of working with a variety of metals
  • Excellent experience of working to tight tolerances and high precision engineering methods
  • Any experience of working in high-spec industries such as aerospace, oil & gas, or defence is a distinct advantage
  • Time Served CNC Machinist required

Hours of work: Monday - Thursday 6am - 4.15pm - 4 day working week or nights are available and a 5 day working week.
