We are working with a key client who have a track record stretching back over 40 years, offering customers a broad range of contract and sub-contract manufacturing capabilities. They are currently recruiting for their site near Lancaster for an experienced CNC Miller or CNC Turner.
The CNC Miller/CNC Turner will need the following:
- Must have hands-on working experience as a CNC Milling or CNC Turning - minimum 3 years
- Proven experience of setting and operating is required over 3 years
- Ideally ability to write programs from scratch or ability to edit programs online and offline
- Experience with 3, 4, and 5-axis machining
- Experience or knowledge of CNC Controls systems: Fanuc, Mazak or Haidenhain is required
- Ability to manufacture components as per Clients Drawings and Quality requirements
- Good experience of working with a variety of metals
- Excellent experience of working to tight tolerances and high precision engineering methods
- Any experience of working in high-spec industries such as aerospace, oil & gas, or defence is a distinct advantage
- Time Served CNC Machinist required
