We're looking for a Glazed Façade Designer to join our team at our Bradford fabrication facility, producing detailed design and fabrication drawings for curtain walling, windows, doors and architectural glazing systems.
The role:
- Develop façade design and fabrication drawings from architect's details and specifications
- Produce GA drawings, sections, and component/fabrication details
- Carry out take-offs and support the estimating and procurement process
- Liaise with main contractors, architects and suppliers to resolve technical queries
- Ensure designs meet CWCT standards, Building Regs and Building Safety Act requirements
About you:
- Experience in curtain walling / aluminium glazing system design
- Proficient in AutoCAD (2D); 3D/Inventor an advantage
- Understanding of façade performance — thermal, structural and weatherproofing
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage workload across multiple projects
