Job Description:
Quest Search & Selection are currently partnering with a leading retail group, for an amazing opportunity for a Senior Merchandise Admin Assistant (MAA) to join their excellent team.
As a Senior MAA, you will be responsible for supporting the Merchandiser daily by efficiently planning, managing suppliers, adjusting sales and intake forecasts, and ensuring the best product availability.
Role and Responsibilities of this Senior Merchandise Admin Assistant (MAA):
- Oversee delivery schedules to align with stock levels and intake targets.
- Collaborate with the Buying team to manage timelines and ensure smooth operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
- Analyse sales and stock data to identify opportunities and risks.
- Keep accurate updates on availability of key products.
- Assist the Merchandiser in preparing for meetings and presentations.
- Provide guidance and support to the Merchandise Administrator.
- Step in for the Merchandiser when needed.
Qualifications Required for this Senior Merchandise Admin Assistant (MAA):
- A degree (or equivalent qualification) in Buying or Merchandising
- Previous merchandising experience (6-12month experience +) as a placement or internship would be ideal
- Strong Excel skills and IT proficiency.
- A team player with excellent communication skills.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and methodical approach.
- Ability to stay calm and perform well under pressure.
