Quest Search & Selection are currently looking for a Senior Category Manager - SDA (small domestic appliances). Here you will be responsible to lead the category, delivering top-quality products at competitive prices for UK consumers. You'll develop supplier relationships, shape category strategy, and drive growth in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
The business is working with a global ecommerce retail platform that has operations in the UK & Europe and is currently growing their FMCG category team! With 1st class supply chain and its core & cutting-edge digital solutions, this business is renowned for its innovation and excellence, all within a start-up culture.
The roles and responsibilities of this Senior Category Manager - SDA (small domestic appliances) role:
- Lead the buying and sales activity for the category. This category will include (but not exhaustive):
- Food Preparation: Rice cookers, juicers, blenders, mixers, food processors, waffle makers etc.
- Laundry: Irons, ironers, towel dryers.
- Floor and Surface Care: Vacuum cleaners (dry/wet).
Qualifications required for this Senior Category Manager - SDA (small domestic appliances) role:
- 4 - 7+ years experience within buying/category management, ideally operating at a senior or manager level.
- Extensive category, merchandising or buying experience within household & laundry categories as mentioned above.
- Deep understanding of consumers, with strong market insights and proven purchasing expertise.
- You must come from a retail, eCommerce, marketplace or supplier background with strong knowledge of the UK market within this category.
- Exceptional analytical abilities, data sensitivity, and logical thinking.
- Highly driven, innovative, team-oriented, and committed to aligning personal contributions with organisational goals.
