As a Senior eCommerce Manager, you will be responsible for managing the trading team and driving commercial performance through data-driven strategies aimed at boosting digital sales. Your role will be around enhancing the on-site customer experience, coordinating campaigns & ensuring smooth execution of promotions.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Own and deliver digital sales performance for the business, including revenue and profit forecasting and key metrics such as Conversion Rate, AVO & Sales.
  • Collaborate with the Head of eCommerce to shape and implement a digital trading strategy.
  • Lead regular performance reviews with the team.
  • Work cross-functional with the market insights and Digital Marketing team.
  • Use data analysis to guide decisions and ensure the team has strong data literacy skills.
  • Develop and execute a performance and data analysis strategy through analytics tools such as GA, AA & Content Square.
  • Ensure seamless execution of campaigns and trading initiatives with a focus on optimising the customer journey.
  • Drive enhancements in site navigation, user experience, and product merchandising to improve conversion and other digital KPIs.
  • Work closely with Product, UX, and Experimentation agencies to influence priorities and contribute to the development roadmap.
  • Ensure digital KPIs are clearly understood and realistically achievable across teams.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar digital trading or e-commerce role within retail or consumer brands.
  • Highly analytical and strategical with advanced knowledge of Google Analytics, Contentsquare, and Excel.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
  • Proven experience with e-commerce platforms.
  • Track record in improving both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic initiatives to drive sales.
