Quest Search & Selection are looking to partner with this international premium retailer & brand which has continued success in Europe. This fashion & accessories brand is a heritage brand that is excited to be opening up new stores within the UK high street, outlets and airports.
As a Store Manager you will have an impact on the sales & commercial performance of the store. You will be expected to act as a coach every day, inspiring your team in all areas of sales & service skills. This is a high performing sales per sq ft store & due to the travel environment, the store has longer operating hours where you need to be flexible for shifts between the hours of 7 AM till 9:30 PM.
The roles and responsibilities of this Store Manager role include:
- To guide and appropriately manage the assistant manager and floor sales staff.
- Daily staff briefings to guide and motivate the sales team for the day.
- Product knowledge training and development.
- Maintaining effective communication channels across retail, stock, and store colleagues.
- Maintain visual merchandising conditions and store standards according to brand guidelines.
- Ensuring compliance procedures are met.
- Ensuring that sales KPIs are met on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Accountable for the operational control & shop floor standards - including cash handling, security measures and visual standards.
To be successful as a Store Manager:
- It is essential that you have managed a sales team in a premium or high street retail environment where service standards are of the highest level.
- You must have store management, assistant manager, or deputy manager experience in the retail industry.
- You must be computer competent, with strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and iPad use.
- Clientelling: you must be passionate about clientelling and delivering repeat, exceptional service.
- Backgrounds in premium or luxury fashion, jewellery, accessories, or beauty would be ideal, but are not essential.
- You must have excellent organisational skills and be able to maintain the store’s financial and non-financial KPIs and targets.
