Quest Search & Selection is currently recruiting for a lifestyle retailer who has become a global brand and has been established for more than 70 years. They offer a wide range of luxury gifting, accessories, and bags, and are currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager for their flagship central London boutique.

As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in coordinating the daily operations of the store and leading the daily activities of the sales team on the shop floor.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the day-to-day operational activities of the store.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer service experience to every customer.
  • Manage stocktakes and oversee inventory and wastage queries.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and participate in training on new and existing ranges, including key selling points.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and drive performance across key KPIs, including conversion rate, ATV, and UPT.
  • Coordinate visual merchandising guidelines and support in-store moves and layouts.
  • Support the Store Manager in training and developing sales associates.
To be successful in this role:
  • 1-2 years + experience in a retail leadership role.
  • You must have management, team leader/supervisor/keyholder or senior sales level experience.
  • Ideally, you have experience in a customer-focused retail environment whether that is health & beauty, leisure fashion, gifting etc., or other premium or luxury settings.
  • Have strong sales and client experience, preferably in the retail market.
  • Good understanding of commercial KPIs (financial and non-financial).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
