The role of Assistant Merchandiser involves working closely with a Merchandiser within the accessories & gifting business. You will develop stock packages for new store and concept openings, monitor their performance, and assist management by producing WSSI and OTB reports.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Review and manage line performance, stock levels, and ordering processes.
  • Oversee stock movements into and out of the warehouse.
  • Recommend and document promotional activities, ensuring alignment with departmental budgets.
  • Prepare reports and analyses to support product signoffs, business reviews, and ad hoc requests.
  • Accurately complete and obtain authorisation for Open to Buy documentation.
  • Support the planning of sales, discounts, and stock to achieve required levels.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and participate in supplier meetings as needed.
  • Supervise workloads and contribute to the training and development of Allocator.

To be successful in this role, ideally you should have 2 years' experience within a Senior / Allocator, Senior / Merchandise Admin Assistant or Assistant Merchandiser level. Strong attention to detail, a true passion for numbers and analytics, coupled with a curious mindset are essential. Proficiency in WSSI and high skill in Excel are required, along with a clear drive and enthusiasm to grow and advance your career.
