Quest Search & Selection are proud to represent one of the UK's leading seasonal retailers who have QSR restaurants & Cafes across the UK. This role is around supporting the implementation of consistent stock & people process systems whilst upholding best practice procedures. This role covers food, drink & QSR operations, with the goal of driving margin profitability across both the on-site venues and the centralised Food & Beverage EBITDA. Please note the role would be a 6-month fixed-term contract with the potential of going permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as the key link between on-property operations and the central F&B head office to drive strategic margin improvement & EBITDA.
- Driving automation initiatives to enhance profitability, improve time efficiency, strengthen stock control, and reduce food wastage.
- Creating regular performance reports and dashboards to highlight opportunities, track progress, and measure key operational metrics.
- Monitoring and refining stock and wastage processes to ensure operational excellence and cost efficiency.
- Spearheading the execution of the Profit Improvement Plan through clear communication, structured performance reviews, and well-planned site visits.
- Leading the implementation of accurate stock counts and inventory management systems to support margin control.
- Partnering cross-functionally to deliver training and upskilling initiatives that ensure successful roll-out of profit improvement strategies.
- Leveraging stakeholder insights to align improvement plans with each location’s operational capacity and business needs.
Requirements:
- It is essential that you have field, area, operations, regional, field management experience within F&B, hospitality, or QSR background.
- Ideally someone who is immediately available or available within three weeks.
- You must be able to travel nationwide and stay away during the week.
- Level 3 Food Safety.
- Experienced in Recipe Costing & Planning Software.
- Experienced in using technology software for hospitality e.g. Zonal.
- Track record of effectively managing and optimising profit margin – highly skilled with P&L reports and implementing actions.
- In-depth operational expertise in F&B, with a strong grasp of models spanning both QSR and Casual Dining.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including delivering impactful presentations.
- Strong analytical mindset with well-developed critical thinking capabilities.
