Quest Search & Selection is seeking a Commercial Property Acquisition Manager to oversee lease negotiations, rent reviews, and ensure all property obligations are met. Reporting to the Head of Property, this position also involves deputising when required and plays a hands-on role in shaping the company’s growth through strategic property management and acquisitions

Duties & Responsibilities for this Commercial Property Acquisition Manager role–
- Manage a diverse portfolio of retail and non-operational commercial sites
- Negotiate lease terms, renewals, consents, and third-party permissions
- Track and action lease events including rent reviews and landlord obligations
- Handle disputes and ensure cost-effective, compliant resolutions
- Oversee vacant units, sub-lets, and review service charge and landlord invoices
- Recover overpayments and support wider estate strategy
- Deputise for the Head of Property as needed and drive operational excellence
To be successful in this Commercial Property Acquisition Manager role–
- 3–5+ years in commercial property or lease acquisition roles
- Strong background in lease negotiations, renewals, and landlord management
- Experience in retail, hospitality, or other commercial environments
- In-depth knowledge of commercial lease terms and property law
- Results-driven, commercially sharp, and confident with multi-site portfolios
- Willingness to travel extensively across the UK (2–3 nights away per week)
- Full UK driving license required
