Quest Search & Selection are proud to represent one of the UK's leading seasonal retailers who have different sites across the UK. The UK Operations & Commercial Manager – Amusements, reporting to the Head of Retail, manages operator partners, delivers optimisation projects, and oversees reporting and insights. Leads space optimisation projects, tracks performance improvements, and provides insights for machine placement and category planning of projected £50 million business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Finance, Business Analysts and proposition to analyse performance, set KPIs and track sales and contribution against budget.
- Lead the business until area of over 30 sites in the UK & Coastal regions.
- Look after the operations, space, commercials, people management and site optimisation.
- Drive space and revenue optimisation across parks through machine and category analysis, heat-map & space planning experience.
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery of optimisation plans with teams including digital, facilities and site operations.
- Manage operator partner coordination including account support, invoicing, contract administration and business review insights.
- Monitor performance with Business Analyst on new products and implement ongoing machine and category improvements.
- Support H&S and regulatory compliance through audits, risk assessments and license management.
Key Requirements:
- Ideally having 5+ years’ experience in retail, hospitality, leisure experience.
- Strong commercial acumen with knowledge of P&L, sales, and margin performance.
- Strong sales, customer service, and stakeholder management skills, as well as people management experience.
- Open to travelling and staying away once a week & also travel to head office and plan diary in advance.
- Understanding of space planning, floor management, and sales/data analysis.
