As an Assistant eCommerce Manager, you’ll join a growing digital trading team focused on established websites. You’ll develop digital trading strategies, manage daily trading, and analyse website performance. Reporting to a eCommerce Manager, you will drive sales through strategic planning, executing campaigns, and leading projects to improve sales and digital KPIs.
Role and Responsibilities of this Assistant eCommerce Manager role-
- Manage daily website trading and execution under the Trading Manager’s guidance.
- Report on daily, weekly, monthly, and annual sales, providing detailed analysis and action plans to meet targets.
- Oversee and report on weekly site updates, campaigns, promotions, and brand partner changes.
- Manage end-to-end campaign and promotional activities, staying informed about upcoming events.
- Communicate product and trading strategies to digital marketing and optimization teams.
- Lead cross-functional digital trading projects as needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute evergreen and seasonal content to boost SEO, engagement, and conversion.
- Improve product content and support teams in resolving issues to optimize sales.
- Actively contribute to the digital strategy and represent the Digital Trading Team across the business, ensuring digital KPIs are understood and achievable by all.
Qualifications Required for this Assistant eCommerce Manager role –
- 3 years + of experience in a similar digital role in retail or consumer brands DTC platform
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Google Analytics, Contentsquare, and Excel.
- Experience managing an Assistant level is desirable but not essential
- Proven ability to drive eCommerce sales growth through day-to-day improvements.
