The Website Operations Manager reports to the Head of Digital, which is pivotal to ensuring the seamless operation of ecommerce platforms & driving growth within their digital platform.
Key responsibilities of Website Operations Manager:
- Serve as a key liaison between the Digital team and other departments.
- Being the point of contact for external agencies and partners.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of ecommerce site, including loading speed, site navigation and broken links.
- Oversee web development projects, handling both ad-hoc tasks and those aligned with the broader digital strategy.
- Manage software integrations, including Product Information Management (and associated workflows), CRM databases, audience segmentation, email automations and social media integrations.
- Provide technical insights for the business, evaluating the benefits of both new and existing software and how they align with company objectives.
- Identify and propose website enhancements, focusing on UX and CRO strategies, with an analysis of financial impacts.
Key requirements of this Website Operations Manager:
- 2-3 years' experience within digital technologies, preferably with an ecommerce emphasis.
- Technical experience on digital projects, platforms etc across their trading and digital marketing platforms.
- Involvement with improving site performance including UX.
- Experience managing software or site migration or reforming projects is advantageous.
- PIM Workflow experience is advantageous.
- SaaS platforms experience within PIM, CRM, and ESP.
- Project management experience, with a proactive approach to multitasking and execution.
