The roles and responsibilities of this Trade Marketing Assistant role include:
- Taking ownership of planning and executing trade marketing plans in collaboration with the different retail categories.
- Collaborating closely with the Buyers and Group channel marketing teams to implement marketing plans effectively to help increase sales by making products more attractive to consumers.
- Strengthening partnerships with distributors and brand partners.
- Supporting the negotiation of activity volume and value within marketing plans to drive trade income and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual investment targets.
To be successful in this Trade Marketing Assistant role, candidates should ideally have:
- 1 year + experience as a marketing executive, coordinator or assistant.
- Experience within the retail or brand in the entertainment, sporting, music or hospitality sector.
- Experience or exposure in Trade Marketing.
- Skills at effectively prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
