Quest Search & Selection are looking for an impulse Buyer to drive the commercial buying strategy across a diverse and fast-growing portfolio, and key categories such as FMCG, drinks and snacks. You will curate product ranges that excite customers, develop strong supplier relationships, and support category growth through strategic commercial decisions and creative thinking. The company is rapidly growing, bringing both global brands and local favourites to millions of customers every year. With a number of new store launches including travel retail planned next year, now is an exciting time to join the team.

Responsibilities

  • Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure top-quality products, competitive pricing, and strong partnerships.
  • Lead the buying and range strategy. Comfortable with buying and supplier negotiations or mix category products as this is a multi-category role.
  • Optimise range, pricing, and promotions to boost sales, margins, and customer satisfaction.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and finance to launch new brands and concepts.
  • This role will mainly focus on branded and partnership buying directly with suppliers or established distributors.
  • Track market trends and performance data to identify opportunities and guide strategy.
  • Drive innovation and sustainability in product selection and sourcing.

Qualifications

  • Ideally having 3-5 years' experience in FMCG, supermarket, quick-service restaurants or wholesale.
  • Demonstrated experience in retail buying, category management, or procurement, preferably within F&B, Confectionery, Hot & cold drink etc.
  • Skilled in negotiation, supplier management, and data-driven analysis.
  • Commercially minded, able to balance creativity with profitability.
  • Experienced in managing both branded and private-label portfolios.
  • Strong communicator and collaborator with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
