The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.
The role will involve managing a busy and varied private family caseload so we are looking for someone organised and efficient with a strong sense of commercial acumen. KEY TASKS
- Running and assisting with a case load of client matters.
- Dealing with new client enquiries.
- Dealing with matters at all stages, from taking the client's initial instructions through to archiving, in accordance with office and accounts procedures.
- Taking instructions from clients and advising accordingly.
- Instructing counsel or other experts where appropriate.
- Representing clients at Court (including advocacy) as appropriate.
- Obtaining and preparing file documentation.
- Cost drafting as appropriate.
- Billing files and obtaining monies due to the firm from the clients and other parties.
KEY SKILLS – ESSENTIAL
- Professional and friendly client care.
- Ability to work accurately in accordance with procedures and processes.
- Ability to deal with technical details and to express solutions to complex legal problems in a concise and client‐friendly way.
- Good spoken and written communication to deal with clients and other parties face to face, by telephone and in producing legal documents.
- Confident IT skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work on own initiative and within a team.
