Exciting opportunity with a growing business to join their successful team as a Transport Planner. Our client, a leading airfreight transport company based in Hounslow, is expanding their Transport team and are looking for day and night planners to cover 4 on 4 off shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the role of the UK Transport team.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with our customers, putting their best interest at the forefront of everything we do, delivering consistently high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Plan workloads to ensure all targets are planned, met, and exceeded consistently.
  • Provide reports to relevant departments within the business.
  • Ensure legislative compliance in all areas.
  • Ensure that the company operates within all agreed operational procedures and within statutory requirements, including the provision and maintenance of a safe working environment.
  • Identify possible savings and improvements for the department and support their implementation.
  • Other general administrative duties that management may reasonably request.

Requirements

  • Previous knowledge of transport planning.
  • Previous experience of working in a busy transport operation.
  • Knowledge of Air and Road Logistics.
  • Good communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Experience working in a busy office environment.
  • A good level of IT literacy.
  • Adaptable and able to think on your feet.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
