We are looking for recycling pickers to work within the recycling centre. The purpose is to achieve higher/better quality recycling. Sorting commercial waste, you will be part of the team that makes this happen.
As a recycling picker, you will be responsible for picking out items from a moving conveyor belt and segregating them so they can be better recycled. The site does contain dust but masks are provided before every shift. You will be expected to help with cleaning at the end of every shift.
You may also be asked to work on the yard, help with housekeeping, and opportunities may arise to train for permanent positions using the machines and forklifts.
