About the job Part Qualified Accountant

We\’re a leading chartered accountancy firm, is looking to recruit a part qualified accountant to join their Audit and Accounts team based at their Chelmsford Office.
Working to deliver a broad range of audit and accounts services to a range of business clients, this opportunity would suit an individual who is looking to progress their career. The ideal candidate will be part qualified (ACA/ACCA), with at least 2 years practice experience.

The main duties of the role are:
• Preparation of year end statutory accounts under FRS 102 1A and FRS 102.
• Preparation of draft corporation tax computations.
• Preparation of monthly or quarterly management accounts, and VAT returns.
• Working closely with junior members of staff, helping them develop, mentoring and training them as well as delegating and review their work
• Assisting with the audit process including planning, fieldwork and completion.
• Audit makes up around 10% of the workload.
