We are looking to recruit a Bi-Lingual Business Development Manager (German and English language). As our ideal candidate, you will have exceptional experience of the German market, a strong knowledge of the local regional marketplace and, ideally, established relationships with retailers, distributors and wholesalers. You will be joining our business at an exceptionally exciting time of expansion and our ideal candidate will be UK based, proactive and professional.

The primary objective will be to develop our business with existing partners whilst identifying and delivering new profitable business opportunities.

Principal Accountabilities:
  • Achieve and exceed turnover targets.
  • Oversee and implement sales strategy in Germany.
  • Develop business with existing partners by increasing turnover year on year, exploring new product opportunities alongside new category opportunities, identifying gaps and increasing sales of ongoing ranges.
  • Deliver new business in all territories by developing a pipeline of opportunities to improve product and brand distribution and increasing overall turnover.
  • Onboard new business partners including brand and product set up through to order management and replenishment, ensuring all legal documents are completed including NDA, new account forms and contracts where relevant.
  • Direct marketing efforts to support distributor and retailer activity to increase sales, coordinating with internal departments.
  • Evaluate and analyse sales to support identification of opportunities or challenges.
  • Forecast to support buying strategy and resource requirements.
  • Share market information and research, collect customer feedback and communicate to relevant departments in the business.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of all brands and product offerings to identify profitable business opportunities.
  • Provide feedback on product/category opportunities and ways to improve business processes to achieve increased turnover.
  • As the lead representative of the business locally, build and maintain excellent relationships with business partners and ensure clear communication to the relevant departments internally to ensure processes run smoothly and all opportunities are delivered on time and profitably.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships internally within key areas of the business.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Extensive regional experience in Germany and strong knowledge of the local market with ideally established relationships with retailers, distributors and wholesalers.
  • Proven track record in business development – able to open new doors while also growing existing partners.
  • Commercially driven and highly motivated – individuals who are hungry, target‑focused and comfortable operating in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Able to work at pace and scale markets – balancing immediate opportunities with major retailers alongside developing smaller accounts.
  • Fluent English communication skills – essential for working with our global teams.
  • Comfortable managing a broad product portfolio across multiple beauty and personal care categories.
  • Beauty or personal care industry experience is highly preferred.
