Quest Medical UK Ltd is seeking a qualified F-Gas Air Conditioning / Chiller Engineer to join our specialist engineering team based at Upper Heyford. This is a static-based position supporting equipment within the mobile medical industry, providing essential services to healthcare providers across the UK. If you are looking for structured hours, no on-call rota, and long-term stability within a specialist sector, this role offers a strong alternative to traditional commercial HVAC roles.

The Role

  • Service, maintenance and repair of water chillers and air conditioning systems
  • Installation and fault-finding on associated electrical systems
  • Maintenance and repair of medical trailers
  • Generator servicing (full training provided)
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently
  • Delivering high levels of customer service at all times

This is a hands-on engineering role requiring problem-solving ability and a proactive approach.

What We Offer

  • Salary: £36,500 - £45,000, raising after successful completion of 6-month probation
  • Working Hours: 40 hour contracted week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (1 hour unpaid lunch), no on-call rota
  • Overtime: 1.5x basic rate after 8 hours worked, Saturday – 1.5x, Sunday – 2x, overtime available weekdays and weekends
  • Annual Leave: 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays), additional annual leave awarded for length of service

What We're Looking For

  • Essential: Qualified F-Gas Engineer, Experience working on chillers and air conditioning systems, Previous experience in a service engineering environment, Full clean UK driving licence, Professional and customer-focused attitude
  • Desirable: Electrical experience advantageous but not essential
