Office Manager in Manchester

We attend County Court hearings for over 200 solicitor firms and have a team of over 100 advocates who work remotely across England and Wales. We are seeking an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy advocacy agency. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a background in office administration—ideally, but not essentially, within a legal or professional services environment. This position is key to ensuring the firm runs smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Manage Daily Operations: Diary management, liaise with clients and consultants, deal with email and phone queries, prioritise and delegate tasks to operations team members. Office Administration: Supplies ordering, Health and Safety coordination, meeting scheduling and note taking. HR Functions: Assist with training and development of operations staff. Organise regular advocate recruitment, working alongside the technical team to understand current requirements. Technology Oversight: Coordinate with IT support as needed, manage office software systems and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
