We are looking for an organised and personable Business Support Manager to join our busy operations team.

The role is based at our offices in Salford Quays which includes on site parking and great access to public transport links.

Quest Legal Advocates is one of the country’s most prominent advocacy providers, offering advocacy and drafting services to solicitors and in-house legal teams.

Quest provides representation in court centres across England and Wales and undertakes thousands of hearings each year.

Quest was established in 2012 and has grown into a specialist advocacy business with a focus on personable service, efficient administration, high-quality advocacy and excellent client care.

The successful candidate will play an important role in the smooth day-to-day running of the business.

They will act as a key point of contact for clients, consultants, suppliers and staff, helping to ensure that bookings are managed efficiently, case papers are received on time, and clients receive an excellent service.

  • Experience in office management, business administration or operations.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supervising or supporting colleagues is highly desirable.
  • Experience within a legal or professional services environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database or case management systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Support & Experience
  • Act as a key point of contact for client enquiries
  • Log, track, and resolve client issues and requests within agreed service levels
  • Escalate complex or urgent issues to appropriate internal teams
  • Support client onboarding and basic training where required
  • Contribute to improvements in client processes and service quality
  • Office Management & Administration
  • Manage day-to-day office operations ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies
  • Take an active role in the people management of the business administration team
  • Maintain office supplies, equipment, and facilities coordination
  • Organise office staff logistics
  • Act as central coordination point for internal administration
  • Organise meetings, calendars, and internal communications
  • Manage document control and record keeping
  • Support onboarding of new starters (equipment, access, induction logistics)
  • Business & Administrative Support
  • Provide administrative support to senior management and teams
  • Liaise with external suppliers and service providers
  • Support compliance administration (policies, GDPR records, health & safety documentation)
  • Maintain accurate internal databases and filing systems

The position would be with a view to undertaking further responsibility in due course, should the successful candidate be suitable.

This could include further involvement in client relations, supplier liaison, internal systems, HR administration, compliance support or wider business operations.
