At Quest Global, UK, we are looking for a senior engineer to lead the mechanical integration of all train systems into a fully coordinated 3D model, supported by the associated installation drawings for one of our Rolling Stock / Rail Transport projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- The role would act as the focal point for integrating inputs from the various system engineering disciplines.
- Coordinating activity across a multidisciplinary group of around 30 people.
- Individual would also interface closely with a third-party team in Hitachi Rail Italy responsible for detailed modelling and drawing production.
- Hands-on experience in Rolling Stock Mechanical systems integration.
- Good knowledge on the different systems of Rolling Stock.
- Experience working with customer system design vendors.
- Problem resolution experience in the areas of design integration and clashing, stack-up calculations and root cause analysis of the engineering problems.
Work Experience
- He / She should have hands-on experience in Design of mechanical systems.
- Experience in handling the engineering data using CREO and GPLM PLM.
- Experience in RAIL / ROLLING STOCK MECHANICAL SYSTEMS.
- Good experience in working with cross-functional teams and Integration engineering teams.
- Ability to identify the root cause of the errors and issue resolution experience.
- Long-term project support 5 months and has potential extension.
