Diploma or bachelors of engineering with minimum 5 years of experience
Contain, manage and resolve Quality issues relating to supplier non-conforming components identified in workshops, Warehouse or customers globally.

Provides supplier quality performance data to ensure a meaningful supplier performance evaluation

Interact with Customer Facing businesses to investigate potential Product Non conformance

Lead supplier root cause investigations and corrective actions through Problem Resolution process.

Conduct improvement projects to Quality and Delivery performance improvement

Investigate and resolve manufacturing capability issues within the supply chain to ensure business continuity

Lead component validation following Product and Process Qualification process, manage risks

Identify and support Cost reduction opportunities through interaction with the Supply Chain/Strategy

Audit existing and potential suppliers to determine capability of manufacturing and ensure quality systems are in place. Develop supplier capability to meet current and future requirements

Lead and/or facilitate improvement projects to satisfy problems and improve performance of suppliers by applying appropriate LEAN / Quality improvement tools

Train and coach suppliers to improve aspects of their business performance
Lead Product validation through PPQ process

Drives reactive supplier quality improvements and escalates when needed according to SQM Policy
