  • Assist with validation and refinement of engine work scopes using operational history, configuration data, SB / Safety Alerts, and Airworthiness Directive applicability.
  • Track and analyse parts exposure, consumption, and scrap during shop visits, identifying abnormal drivers and recurring issues.
  • Develop Pareto and root-cause analyses to support cost control, planning accuracy, and repair strategy improvements.
  • Capture high-quality defect photography and provide clear technical evidence to engineering and hardware ownership teams.
  • Act as the on-site technical interface between shop operations, engineering, planning, and cost/programme functions.
  • Support responses to technical queries and follow-up requests from OEM hardware owners.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving shop flow, turnaround time, and overall MRO throughput.

Required Experience

  • Approximately 5 years’ experience in gas turbine engine MRO, repair engineering, or shop support roles.
  • Hands-on experience supporting engine or module disassembly and inspection in an MRO environment.
  • Working knowledge of engine modules, inspection processes, and common damage modes.
  • Experience with Service Bulletin and Safety Alert incorporation within shop work scopes.
  • Comfortable operating on the shop floor and working directly with operations personnel.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within OEM or OEM-authorised MRO facilities.
  • Exposure to parts exposure tracking, scrap analysis, or cost drivers in MRO operations.
  • Experience working across multiple MRO sites or within a global MRO network.
  • Familiarity with MRO documentation systems and engineering databases.

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong practical engineering judgement and attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate physical hardware condition into clear, actionable technical input.
