We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated PCB Test Engineer to join our team specializing in aerospace components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PCB testing, troubleshooting, and validation, with a focus on ensuring the reliability and performance of aerospace electronic systems. This is a contract position, with an onsite location in Solihull.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans for PCB assemblies used in aerospace applications.
- Perform functional, environmental, and performance testing on PCB components.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with PCB assemblies and provide solutions.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure testability and reliability of PCB designs.
- Document test procedures, results, and provide detailed reports.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards and regulations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in PCB testing and validation.
- Strong knowledge of PCB design, manufacturing, and testing processes.
- Experience with testing equipment and tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
- Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
