Work Experience:
  • Work transparently with various engineering discipline leads/teams to provide clear and concise reports and information regarding progress and management of Risk and Opportunities in relation to the Engineering activities.
  • Support projects as they evolve through the project engineering lifecycles.
  • Assess the potential risks of specific projects, as well as undertake risk management in specialist roles.
  • Communicate and liaise effectively with a wide set of project stakeholders.
  • Be adaptable, as project requirements evolve, and ensure relevant parties are notified of changes in the project.
  • Compile and peer review project and technical reports.
Design and implement cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety and reliability:
  • Ship stability and weight allocations.
  • Marine classification system.
  • Ship systems and marine structures.
  • Use research, analytical, conceptual and planning skills, particularly those in mathematical modelling and computer-aided design.
