Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide strong technical leadership in Inspection/Corrosion Management for Oil & Gas upstream/downstream assets
Provide technical solution in the area of upstream/downstream Asset Integrity
Has ability to create innovative solutions /automations/ methodologies to build a differentiation for Quest Global
Drive and manage Integrity Engineers to execute the workflows with Quality at scale
Provide pre-sales support for new business deals and post-sales support for the new projects assigned
Drive core team members to recruit skilled resources or train internal resources to achieve the targets
Act as a bridge between customer, sales organization and global technical teams Flexible to make short trips as required by the business
Lead Develop, nurture and manage global customer relationships and drive strategic partnering initiatives to address unique business situations and complex technology needs
Review technical scoping, estimation, fitment and feasibility studies, mapping customer expectations and solution design, prepared by Program Managers and Project Leaders
Required Qualifications & Competencies: Engineering degree (Mechanical/Materials or Chemical) 15+ years of oil gas experience in related industry (refining/petrochemical/LNG/oil&gas)
Should have sound knowledge on Oil & Gas upstream and downstream business in the following areas – Risk Based Inspection methodologies
– Fixed equipment inspection tasks/ procedures
– Inspection Optimization
– Piping Circutization/TML development
– API Damage Mechanisms of Refinery/Chemicals
– In-service inspection of all types of fixed equipment
RBI Studies – Above Ground Storage Tank Engineer
Background : The scope of work is to support RBI (Risk Based Inspection) Studies for Above Ground Storage Tanks in Upstream, Downstream and Supply chains of Oil & Gas segment. Support activities like manage, interpret, integrate and function test data associated to equipment. Preparation of Tank Inspection deferral with RBI Analysis. Take an engineering
judgement to optimize the inspection and test intervals, study focuses on asset integrity management by measuring through calculation (API 653). Maintaining maintenance strategies/ task list manually or using software.
Expectations
1. Mechanical engineer with working experience in Upstream (Offshore_Topside & Onshore) & Downstream (Refining,
Petrochemicals & Polymers) static & piping equipment
2. Engineer shall be competent to review P&ID, GA drawings and understand requirements.
3. Engineer shall be able to review Inspection Report, understand damage mechanisms, carry approval & recommendation.
4. Certification and working experience in RBI study based on API 580 (Certification is must)
5. Experience in Tank integrity inspection. Working knowledge of API 653 is a must.
6. Good Engineering judgment to optimize inspection and test interval Collection and Managing the database of
inspection/test records of Pressure vessels, Tanks.
7. Engineer shall have knowledge on Integrity assessment of static equipment and develop Risk Matrix along with Risk
Mitigation Strategies focuses on asset integrity management by measuring through calculation.
8. Engineer shall be able to review material specifications and corrosion engineering knowledge.
9. Engineer shall be competent to perform RBI studies to optimize the maintenance and business expenditure, incurred for
assuring asset integrity.
10. Engineer will be focal for all technical exchanges and manage technical Interface seamlessly.
Knowledge of Onshore / Offshore / LNG Static and Piping equipment. 2. Familiarized with Codes and Standards like ASME B31.3, ASME Sec. II, Sec. V, Sec. VIII, and Sec IX, API 580, API581, API 653, API 510, API 570, API 571, and other API & ASME codes.
