Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the Aerospace Quality Management Systems to support site approvals, including conducting internal & external audits, maintaining regulatory approvals, and performing administrative activities where required.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers on compliance‑related issues.
  • Governance and data management of internal/external compliance‑related issues from notification through to closure.
  • Conduct safety management processes meeting regulatory standards.
  • Involvement in core improvement activities to drive site continuous improvements.
  • Act as department representative for internal and external meetings.
  • Product safety activities, including investigation to root cause and supporting new product introduction.
  • Host regulatory & customer surveillance visits, managing the outcomes of those visits.
  • Support the business departments to meet operational requirements.
  • Review procedures and upkeep the site document review process.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of industry experience.
  • Working knowledge of aviation regulation and approvals (UK CAA/EASA Part 145, FAA, CAAC, AS9100, AS9110, AS9120).
  • Experienced in conducting investigations with full root‑cause analysis and structuring corrective action.
  • Understanding of 8D principles.
  • Experienced auditor.
  • Understanding of compliance and product quality requirements.
  • Experience working in an MRO/OE environment.
  • Ability to utilize continuous improvement tools & techniques.
  • Experience working with bespoke computer‑based records systems and tools including SAP.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant subject area.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to enable effective communication at all levels.
  • Strong character with the ability to make decisions in challenging circumstances.
  • Disciplined, organized and proactive approach to work.
