Key Responsibilities
  • Providing advice on construction related matters
  • Providing input into various stages of the RIBA process
  • Producing drawing information and specification
  • Liaising with key customer stakeholders and design team
  • Interfacing with statutory authorities
Work Experience / Qualifications
  • Degree in related disciplines (Preferable)
  • Typically, 10+ years of relevant architectural experience
  • Proven track record in delivering projects from RIBA stages 3 to 5, including acting as lead designer and overseeing the wider design team
  • Knowledge and experience working within RIBA stages 0 to 2 preferable
  • Strong knowledge of Revit and/or similar BIM capable software and project delivery to BIM level 2
  • Proficiency in understanding/production of architectural drawings and specifications
  • Knowledge of roles and responsibilities under current legislation, including CDM and BSA
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environments, working with a customer-first approach and providing flexibility to changing requirements
Desirable Attributes
  • Good communication skills - Makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens effectively; clarifies information as needed.
  • Understanding of nuclear industry and/or other safety critical environments.
  • Experience in working in a dockyard, marine, Defence or MoD environments particularly with asset lifecycle support.
  • Knowledge of commercial and industrial sector environment
  • Experience with delivering projects in compliance with environmental regulations
  • Experience working with common data environments or data delivery platforms
  • Experience working with various size projects to provide a broad range of skills
