Overview
In this role you ensure on-time delivery of Aero-Engine parts from suppliers, identifying bottlenecks and developing mitigation plans. You support supply chain, procurement, manufacturing and QA across OEM sites in Ireland. You monitor MRP, production schedules, WIP and non-conformances, estimating and revising delivery dates while driving process improvements. You work closely with engineers, buyers and program management to ensure smooth transitions and issue resolution, and you may travel as needed.

Responsibilities
- Monitor MRP tools and production schedules to align with delivery commitments
- Identify bottlenecks and perform gap analyses to develop mitigation plans
- Support supply chain management, procurement, manufacturing and quality assurance across OEM sites and suppliers
- Gather, interpret and document data; close engineering questions and non-conformances
- Plan and execute part transitions; ensure verification and readiness of changes
- Develop/work instructions to implement best practices and ensure repeatability
- Create and track corrective actions and ensure closure
- Maintain documentation, reports and dissemination of information as required
- Foster strong, customer-facing relationships with engineers, buyers and program management
- Support shipping, distribution and delivery tracking to customers
Key requirements
- Understanding of manufacturing processes (Forging, Casting, Assembly, Machining, Special Processes)
- Experience with planning, raw materials, inventory, tools, buffers, purchasing/procurement
- Familiarity with process planning and production readiness reviews
- Knowledge of operating/work instructions and control plans
- Exposure to Lean methodologies and tools
- Knowledge of inventory management and handling
- Experience with production processes (Machining, Assembly, CMM, Special Processes, 5S, BOM)
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP system
- Experience with quality systems and standards (ISO9000/AS9000/IRIS/COC) and relevant certifications
- Knowledge of PPAP/FAI/RCCA processes
- Understanding of measurement/inspection tool use
- History of identifying/resolving part quality and delivery issues using formal problem-solving tools and NCM requirements
- Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, Lean, etc.)
- Ability to read/interpet engineering drawings and GD&T; KPCs
- Customer-facing track record
