Overview

In this role you will manage the revision and publication of gas turbine engine manuals through the PCR process. You will work closely with engineering specialists, repair shops and technical publications to ensure changes are technically justified, traceable, and compliant. You drive documentation quality and coordination across multiple stakeholders, translating technical inputs into substantiated publication changes. This position offers exposure to aerospace projects within a global engineering environment and a culture focused on diverse, collaborative problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate change requests for materials, tools, and related instructions and determine applicability
  • Review existing manuals, drawings, and records to establish baseline and evidence
  • Assess substitutions, obsolescence, and reference corrections and their impact on maintenance processes
  • Develop concise technical substantiation for changes and identify gaps requiring specialist input
  • Coordinate with materials, design, stress, systems engineering and shops to obtain approvals
  • Prepare PCRs detailing existing vs proposed conditions and justification
  • Produce documentation such as markups, checklists, substantiation records, and maintain traceability
  • Identify environmental, regulatory, and airworthiness considerations (e.g., REACH) and coordinate assessments
  • Progress PCRs through engineering workflows, respond to reviews, and close actions
  • Ensure revised publication content is accurately incorporated across references and tasks
  • Utilize internal systems (EPEX, OneMRO/MyRepair, Digital Thread, Salesforce, kanban) to manage changes
  • Manage multiple concurrent PCRs, communicating priorities, risks and progress
  • Contribute to improvements in PCR quality and turnaround time

Key requirements

  • Degree, equivalent qualification or experience in engineering
  • Experience in gas turbine engineering, MRO, manufacturing, tooling or change management
  • Familiarity with gas turbine operation and engine maintenance manuals
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Ability to investigate issues, assess evidence, and prepare justification
  • Strong technical writing, document control and organizational skills
  • Ability to coordinate inputs from multiple stakeholders
  • Systematic problem-solving
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration
  • Familiarity with materials, consumables, tooling in engine maintenance
  • Knowledge of GD&T and dimensional interfaces
  • Knowledge of EPEX, OneMRO/MyRepair, Digital Thread, Salesforce or similar workflows
